The OC gave us two Californian fashionistas - Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson. But, while Mischa has experimented with her style over the years (and now spends her days designing her own collection), Rachel's the one who's stayed true to her roots - and we love her for it! No-one quite nails off-duty chic like her. A typical Californian girl, she's both fashion-forward and relaxed at the same time. Rachel lives in denim; shorts, skinnies and jackets make up the bulk of her wardrobe (she even used to wear jeans on the red carpet!), but her look is never boring. A pro at layering, she'll add a luxe edge to a simple grey marl sweatshirt or classic breton top with expensive accessories (that Chanel 2.55 bag, those Ray Ban Wayfarers, her collection of printed scarves) to bring her look together. Rachel's also a huge fan of vintage. Just like Sienna Miller or Kate Moss, over the past decade she's inspired us to shop in thrift stores for one-off pieces that chanel that boho vibe. It just goes to show that Rachel's as fashion savvy as she is individual.
