Heather Mills McCartney - icon or weird?

She is totally crazy!! I mean who goes onto GMTV and shows herself to be suffering from a case of loose lipped-ness. I dont think she even deserves 1 tabliod mention a week let alone all the column inches she gets - i just feel sorry fir her little girl.

Sorry, icon of what really? The woman is completely deluded and has some serious 'airs of grandeur'. I don't think she deserves any attention whatsoever and she's actually making things worse for herself in the eye of the public....

Heather Mills is pathetic blaming the press for the bad feeling of the public towards her, whether the papers wrote about her or ignored her she would still be disliked by the public and as for bringing in the charity work she does and saying it can't go on untill the papers stop writing about her and how she can't forget the articles and therefore not return to work, well clearly she isn't as generous and wonderfull as she would like everyone to think. Get some help Heather, a break down on TV with saved clip-its of articles doesn't suggest the most sane of minds.

HM is right about the papers they write rubbish and lies. If you have had any personel knowledge of a story I bet you can spot at least one error/lie in it. They can not normally manage to get the area the story is about right! Look past what you think of HM, as that is tainted by press errors/lies, look at what she is saying and what you know. They should have to own up appropriately when they are found out or not be allowed to continue going to press.

There are two sides to every story, but she ought to get a grip, he is not comming out with loads of crap, she is loving all this publicity, she in my opinion doesn't appear stable, on about a hate campaign, well she alone is fueling the fire now, I would be concerned for the baby being in her custody, if this is how she behaves in public, what is she like in private, If she continues this slurring her Ex, she damages her case, and will lose any credibility,(if she ever had any), in Paul's case, well there is no fool like an old fool, and boy is he paying for it now. Only the two of them know why the marraige broke down, they really should keep the details private, but she will not, the woman is maybe frustrated, but come on, she makes herself look more pathetic by the day.

The underlying misogyny in this whole sorry tale is sad and damaging. The point is: she is the woman who has dared to speak up and have her say and as a result she's villified for it. Many people think that she should just shut up and disappear with what's perceived as dignity. But why should she? She's been hurt, lied about and blamed for a divorce when it takes two to make a marriage and two to split it up. No-one says anything against Paul ...because.. well, he's a man and a Beatle to boot. I'm not particularly a fan of Heather: yes she's probably annoying and headstrong. But does that mean she deserves this vicious witch-hunt when Paul gets away as the bumbling, wronged man? There should be balance and fairness... not personal and hateful attacks.

Is she for real - or what? I can't work out whether we should feel sorry for her - or not. That whiney voice really got me... but then maybe she did have a really hard time?
