Make-up: Too much? Too Little? Too Late!

I wear make-up daily! :) To cheer my face up, a little I always have handy a lip liner, a shade or two darker than my lips, my lippy and mascara to open up the eyes. I love the gold max factor mascara, although it dries out quickly. Foundation is best left for nights on the town, otherwise, I like to leave my skin exposed to the fresh air. I adore Maybelline Everfresh ivory, works wonders in covering up blemishes and evening out my skintone. :)

I love make-up. I am addicted to it and have been for as long as I can remember. I am fascinated by celebs who have flawless made up faces and perfectly done eyemakeup. Eyes made up well and truly amazing. I am always trying new colours on my eyes and experimenting with different techniques. I love Cheryl Cole's make up and wish I could do mine like hers. I should have been a make up artist instead of being stuck behind a desk....Girls - the best mascara I have ever used is Dior Show. No clumps, fantastic for thickening and lengthening and can be touched up without going cloggy. Also very easy to remove. The do another one which is Dior Show Ultimate which is especially good for lengthening.

when IS the right time? For me it's always: work, shopping (even a walk to Asda 30secs up the road), night's out, days out.. the only time i DON'T wear it is from just before my nightly bath until I've washed my hair the next morning - oh, and when I'm staying in to clean the house...! J x

The most quirky but impressive makeup I have ever seen is on one of the baristas in Monmouth Coffee on Monmouth Street, nr Covent Garden. She was cute and pixie-like anyway but she had no other make up on other than one tiny little eyeliner dot under each eye. It just oso-worked on this girl. Had I been organised to book her for a fashion shoot, I'd of hired her that day.

You can never have too much eye make-up, and I think with foundation, it's a case of making sure you have the right colour that matches your skin tone. And for the record ladies, thats not orange!

I never wear any make up of a day other than Mascara. I am a big fan of eyeliner but too much can look scary. I love the flawless look foundation creates but "orange" girls are just awful. I think its too much bronzing pearls, lol.

Personally I think women look tarty if you can 'see' their foundation and obviously a sign of chav-ness is to have an orange glow! Makeup should lift your look not be a mask. Every girl has a stunning asset be it complexion, hair, eye shape, cheek bones etc so it pays to optimise your best bits and try to improve your weak areas. For example: if you have lovely hands/nails keep them well-manicured and on show at all times but if your complexion is letting you down ask your doctor to make some diet suggestions or better still see a dermatologist. These tips work for me! I receive a complement on my nails about once a week and my improved eating habits improved my skin tone immensely!
