Red Carpet Style at the Costume Insitute Gala

America's current equivalent to the Beckhams, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, turned up to the annual Costume Institute Gala looking, erm, unique. 

Tom looked like a cross between a vampire and, well, a 1970s snooker player - while Katie wore a bright red/tangerine dress seemingly made out of plastic, teamed with electric blue Christian Louboutins.

Oh Katie - and you've been doing so well lately, too.
