My style

My style in 10 words or fewer:

I love silhouettes, classic; black, white, red, grey. Styles inspired by the glamour of the thirties and forties, the simple masculinity of Katherine Hepburn, the luxury and design of art deco whether paintings by Tamara De Lempicka, oriental & african inspired deco furniture, furnishings, & jewelry. Other favourite colours are khaki, olive & moss greens, browns, burnt golds. I like the gentleman's drawing room feel of worn leather, tweed, wood & cigar smoke.

Celebrity style icon:

Coco Chanel, Katherine Hepburn, Dita Von Teese, Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Carrie Anne Moss. (If I can count men in here then Cary Grant, Paul Newman and Robert Redford!)

I’d rather go naked than wear:

Larme, anything obviously plastic, bat wings, hot pants (for the safety of the rest of the world, rather than just personal taste!)
