It might have been Cheryl Cole's birthday, but it was everyone else who got a treat thanks to her rather racy (and slightly Strictly Come Dancing-esque) Alexander McQueen number.

Less of a treat, but just as much of a surprise, came from Chezza's mum, Joan, who tried to steal her daughter's 26th thunder by foregoing knickers and flashing everyone her lunch during a rather inelegant cab exit. Sheesh, you can take the girl out of Newcastle....

Luckily for Cheryl, other guest were far more couth; Simon Cowell mingled with his ex Terri Seymour, Dannii Minogue put any rivalry with her X Factor co-judge aside and Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts supported their band mate as she hit her late-twenties.

In fact, even Ashley managed to stay on the straight and narrow for the night...
