Founded in 1998 by Lowell Harder, handbag brand Radley is instantly recognisable, thanks to the scottie dog scampering across the leather handbags, purses and other accessories. Radley creates great quality leather goods with a quirky edge – without overdoing the cuteness. In fact, the brand claims to represent Britain's eccentricity! Radley is often found in department stores, although there are a few stores across the UK. Celebrity fans of the brand include Vanessa Abrams and Jessica Szohr. While Radley has always sat quite steadily in the middle market, its recent bags have hinted towards a younger, more fashion conscious market. They're still fun (and more designers could learn from Radley's sense of fun and humour) but they've now added a spot of patent on some bags for a more modern look, and collaborated with V&A too for an art-inspired range. Radley is becoming a cult brand with a strong following - and we can see why.
